The team at Uniphore was building a brand new product for the company, their first cloud-only product. Their configuration of AWS was reasonable for a dev and test environment but lacked the maturity and security for production workloads and datasets. Uniphore needed a solution that could handle the CloudOps, DevOps, and the Security of their platform while giving the application developers self-service with guardrails for their cloud infrastructure. They wanted this capability without having to call in consultants every time they needed to make changes to their infrastructure.

The DuploCloud DevOps-as-a-Service software platform simplified spinning up new environments, easily managing AWS services, stitching together developer tools for a streamlined dev pipeline, and securing isolated environments between the development tenants. Uniphore’s requirement was a multi-tenanted execution layer, but a tenant-isolated storage layer fit Duplo’s environment -> tenant model perfectly.

DuploCloud handled all the IAM policies, roles, deployment, ELB, DNS, storage and even logging to Elasticsearch for diagnostics. With DuploCloud, the Uniphore team pushes CI to Dockerhub and their environments are refreshed with the latest changes. They even wrote some automation for creating new clients/tenants and it’s all seamless, very quick, and incredibly simple.
