Venkat Thiruvengadam
Founder, CEO & Board Member
As an early engineer at Microsoft Azure, Venkat pioneered public cloud technology and played a key role in developing Azure's networking team, writing significant parts of the compute and network controller stack. Recognizing the lack of hyper-scale automation techniques outside of cloud giants like AWS and Microsoft, Venkat founded DuploCloud to bring these techniques to the masses and revolutionize mainstream IT.
Zafar Abbas
Chief Technology Officer
With a background in managing engineering and operations across various industries, Zafar grew his passion for systems infrastructure at Motorola's telecom networks and Microsoft Azure's cloud services. He later applied that passion as an engineering leader at startups like Zenefits and JUUL Labs, managing cross-functional technology teams. As head of engineering and operations at DuploCloud, Zafar sets a high bar for technical excellence and customer experience.
Michael Depold
Chief Financial Officer
Michael brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance and operations roles across Intel, ON24 and Hearsay Systems, the latter of which was sold to Yext, Inc in 2024. He is responsible for leading all G&A functions, including accounting, FP&A, HR, IT, treasury, investor relations, and revops. Michael strives to bring a scalable growth mindset to DuploCloud, pairing a focus on growing revenue with a focus on operational efficiency and disciplined capital allocation.
Veronica Go
Chief Customer Officer
Veronica's leadership journey in customer-centric roles is distinguished by her resilience and exceptional problem-solving skills. She enhances customer experiences by skillfully blending data-driven insights, innovative technology, and the human touch. Her dedication is deeply rooted in forging authentic connections with customers, positively impacting their journey and success. At DuploCloud, Veronica is pivotal in nurturing partnerships, adeptly navigating customers through complex challenges, and fostering innovation in cloud infrastructure management.
Ian Hutchinson
VP of Sales
Ian Hutchinson, with experience scaling businesses at IBM, Salesforce, and Vidyard, is passionate about scaling product market fit and driving growth through B2B sales and Demand Generation. As Head of Sales at DuploCloud, he works closely with customers to establish cloud and security best practices. He supports cloud and technical partnerships to ensure long-term success and customer satisfaction.

Navin Chaddha
Chairman, Mayfield
Navin Chaddha is the Managing Director at Mayfield. He has been named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and has ranked on the Forbes Midas List of Top 100 Tech Investors thirteen times, including being named in the Top Five in 2020. His investments have created over $60 billion in equity value and over 40,000 jobs. During his venture capital career, Navin has invested in over 60 companies, of which 18 have gone public and 25 have been acquired. As an entrepreneur, Navin has co-founded or led three startups, of which one went public and two were acquired. Navin holds an MS in electrical engineering from Stanford University and a B.Tech degree from IIT Delhi, where he was honored with the distinguished IIT Alumni Award.
Patrick Salyer
Board Member, Mayfield
Patrick brings more than a decade of enterprise leadership experience to Mayfield. He is the former CEO of Mayfield portfolio company Gigya, customer identity and access management leader, which was acquired by SAP. As a first-time CEO who built Gigya into a successful enterprise company, he brings a company building playbook which can serve as a model for entrepreneurs. His operational expertise includes successfully navigating multiple product pivots, establishing a new market category, and scaling to more than $100M ARR and hundreds of employees. He has proven go-to-market expertise, having built global inside and field sales models, and achieved high growth rates.
Sumir Chadha
Board Member, WestBridge Capital
Sumir Chadha, a co-founder and Managing Partner of WestBridge Capital, is based in Silicon Valley. Sumir has invested in India for over two decades across private and public companies. He serves on many boards, including Star Health, Aptus, and Innovaccer. Earlier in his career, Sumir also co-founded and was Managing Director of Sequoia Capital India, working at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey & Co.
John Avirett
Board Member, stepstone Group
John is a member of the private equity team, focusing on venture capital and growth equity investments. Prior to StepStone, John was a general partner with Greenspring Associates, a venture capital and growth equity investment firm that merged with StepStone in 2021. Before that, he was an associate at Zurich Financial Services. John graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BA in political science and a minor in economics.
Venktesh Shukla
Board Member, Monta Vista Capital
Venk is the Founder and Managing Director of the seed stage VC fund, Monta Vista Capital. Shukla has been involved with numerous startups as an executive, investor, board member, and adviser. Before starting Monta Vista Capital, Shukla had a long track record of leading companies through rapid growth in his marketing and general management career in Silicon Valley-based companies. Venk holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BSEE from NIT in India.

Advisor
Som is an international business executive, investor, and entrepreneur in technology businesses. Som was previously a Founder, CEO, and President of e4e Inc., a Business Solutions Company working between the US and India. Som had been a General Partner at Walden International, a Venture Capital firm pioneer in India, starting in 1996 ($30 M fund). His successful investments include WebEx, MindTree, Sierra Atlantic, Techspan (Headstrong), Infotech Enterprises, Siltera, etc.
