Technical role at DuploCloud
As CTO, Zafar leads engineering and operations for the DuploCloud platform — the teams responsible for infrastructure automation, compliance controls (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS), and the reliability of customer-facing DevOps tooling. He sets the technical bar for how the platform is built and operated at scale.
Background before DuploCloud
Zafar has more than 20 years of engineering leadership experience. He was VP of Engineering at Zenefits, responsible for payroll product engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps management, and later VP of Software Engineering at JUUL Labs, overseeing e-commerce platform engineering. His systems infrastructure background began on Motorola’s telecom networks and continued at Microsoft Azure. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
